Yes it's hard. But if you're experienced, you should already have a lot of combos you can dive into at any time. If I was working on mixing something I'm not used to and someone came up, I raised my hand and said Hold on. Most people are more than cool with waiting. They're the customer so treat them right and they will come back for you. Those that couldn't wait got a point at the staff and a point at the door.

As a DJ it's your responsibility to practice, know your music inside and out, figure out the timings, as well as have a lot of go-to mixes down already. Being able to mix just about anything on the fly is a great talent to have, but if you're just showing up at the venue and playing stuff, you're not truly doing your job. Most of a DJ's job is done outside the venue.

well said. If you requested something that was in my crates(dating myself a bit here), I found a way to mix it in. A lot of DJ's need to get over themselves, especially some of the glorified MP3 players of today.

Be aggressive, maintain map control, and I'm forced to make army and struggle to find expansions that are safe.

As someone who went from terran to random to zerg I think that aggressive terrans are tough to manage army vs. drone supply, but passive/turtle terran is easy win as long as I keep tabs on your army size. If I'm unaware of your army size, you might catch me having overdroned if you attack at the right time.

As for scouting, use scans for tech timings(also creep and burrowed banes), and use scvs/marine throwaways to see army comp/expos.

play campaign. after bored or complete, play AI using random on medium. Learn hotkeys, learn basic mechanics, and find race that feels most comfortable. Play ladder with race. Don't care about L.

Lots of people will say play campaign only, but I think what happens is a lot of people get too used to terran and never discover that another race fits them better.
