It's underwatered. Yes it will bounce back. This isn't even close to unsalvageable.

What were the days after 9/11 like? by argonautsin AskReddit

[–]pussyham 0 points1 point ago

Yeah it's crazy. I guess it just seems crazy (still) that most people here were literal children when that happened and don't remember most of the world's insanity during that time. Being a senior in college, they almost shut down campus completely as people were straight up just leaving and flying home to be with their families. Some never returned to school weeks later when people were attempting to fake being normal again.

Farmer's markets by day of the week: http://www.explorechicago.org/city/en/supporting_narrative/events___special_events/events/mose/chicago_farmers_markets4.html

Green City Market and Logan Square are my two favorites. People also speak very highly of the Andersonville market.

So are these ants eating my squash flowers or protecting them? by mattman59in gardening

[–]pussyham 4 points5 points ago

It is pretty cool. The only problem is when you realize the little fuckers are PUTTING the aphids there on purpose and working to keep them alive, so the aphids are busy eating your stuff while the ants profit!

They could be farming aphids on your squash.

Question about temperatures indoor-»outdoor by FP444in microgrowery

[–]pussyham 1 point2 points ago

55F is a perfectly safe night temperature. They won't die or get hurt t all. They might just slow down a hair until night temps are warmer.

You could alternately just bring them in at night.

When someone yells from a car window you can ... by Aushikerin bicycling

[–]pussyham 0 points1 point ago

I know you think it works for you, but pushing yourself to hulk levels of anger all the time isn't healthy for you and most likely doesn't change anything for them either. (In fact I've watched drivers become even more aggressive after the cyclist does this and try to actively run them over after that. Multiple times.) Seriously consider, for your own health, changing your approach/mindset. You'll live longer from the reduced stress.

How do I get my lazy-ass son to pull away from Reddit and get a frickin job? by DadOfARedditorin AskReddit

[–]pussyham 0 points1 point ago

For what it's worth, I think you sound like you care a lot about your son. You clearly adore him and want the best for him, and that's why you're frustrated. I don't know the answer to your question, or even that it will work, but good luck.

Whats with all the fuss over "Organic" gardening? by rougetoxicityin gardening

[–]pussyham 5 points6 points ago

Are you arguing about huge companies that grow organic or independent gardeners who grow organic? Because your reply here seems to heavily imply the former but your original question is the latter. Independent gardeners indeed know exactly what goes into their stuff, and why do you seem to have so much anger about what other people do in their gardens?

Plants are stunted, small, don't look good after 4 weeks. Suggestions? by PhilipFirestonein microgrowery

[–]pussyham 0 points1 point ago

You can usually request a soil analysis from a local organization. They are sometimes free and sometimes cost a small fee. Just google "soil test [your city/state]" and there will be a million labs that can do it. Gardeners do this all the time before the planting season begins.

Plants are stunted, small, don't look good after 4 weeks. Suggestions? by PhilipFirestonein microgrowery

[–]pussyham 0 points1 point ago

I thought that the ph of the soil I used indoors was bad and that all they needed was to go outside.

What made you think this, and what made you decide that the soil outside was better? (I'm not trying to give you a hard time, these are genuine questions.)

They've been outside for a week where I know the soil is good and there hasn't been a change.

You say you "know the soil is good," so what do you know?

Penis size. Again. by LittlePenisGuy23in sex

[–]pussyham 7 points8 points ago

It "doesn't matter" because penises themselves rarely lead to orgasms for women. Your skills with your brain, mouth, and tongue matter significantly more than that (this also applies to giant dicked people, but those people often don't care, unfortunately).

I'm interested in hearing about your good and bad experiences with different brands of potting soil. Here is a comparison done by one person. by sunevin gardening

[–]pussyham 1 point2 points ago

I should do a comparison like the one in the OP, but I have begun using Dr. Earth and I'm really liking it so far. Cheaper than Ocean Forest but roughly the same composition, and at least anecdotally, it seems like it doesn't resist watering nearly as much.
