Well, yeah. Plus, I never understand people who gripe about touching shoulders with people on the subway or being behind a slow person on the sidewalk. Hel-LO, you're in a huge fucking city surrounded by millions of other human beings... you're going to come into contact with others from time to time. Why don't you just wear one of those old-timey deep-sea diving suits with the metal helmet if you never want to be exposed to people who are different from you?

Are you seriously trying to compare German people to Aboriginal people in Canada? Because their histories are so different the comparison is meaningless. For one thing, Europeans conquered and stole these people's land from them, or else negotiated treaties and then trampled all over them anyway.

i don't have any thoughts collected since i haven't watched the series since it was airing, but one thing i like about six feet under is that they showed people who were all flawed in different ways... somehow it makes it okay that the show itself has flaws at times. i don't think it's a production that was really about presenting perfection. but i do think they got it right a lot of the time, even when it makes the viewer's skin crawl.

honestly though the show made me so grossed out by jeremy sisto that i still don't like seeing him onscreen. i can't shake it.

edit i should add that i was always frustrated by keith's character because i felt something was off in the casting. i'm not sure i'm qualified to say if the actor (whose name i don't know) is a good actor or not, but i did not find him very convincing. there were just so many scenes that required nuance where he seems really blank.

like anything involving law, it probably depends on the jurisdiction, but it seems where i'm from, they do issue fines for not using your placard.

i think one reason could be so that a tonne of people can't share one tag.

it sucks for the bus driver too. i mean, they can't be expected to physically lift people onto the bus all day. they're not trained or equipped for that and they don't have enough time in the schedule for it either.

i hope your city and all cities get better transit systems for people with disabilities.

So many dudes. when you run into a woman 95 percent of the time she worked in the administration - finance, hr, etc.

my team, for the game i was working on, was about a quarter women, one of whom was the producer, and that was unusual.

Fantastic parties, though. they go all out. lots of free booze. i once did shots of vodka off an ice mountain at a launch party for a shawn white snowboarding game.
