Having trouble with Django urls.py by piglet24in learnpython

[–]kryoptor 4 points5 points ago*

In your urls.py file you should change the regex from this:

url(r'^/', 'myproject.views.index'),

to this:

url(r'^$', 'myproject.views.index'),

It's the maximum output that it can put out at any one time(measured by hour in watt hours). It's rated that way for the most ideal of circumstances. If one of the panels breaks or there's heavy cloud cover or maybe lots of dust in the air the amount will be less than 30,000,000. Or at least that's my understanding.

So you could hypothetically produce 30,000,000 * 24 watt hours for however many days it is operating. To put this in perspective, if you ran a 1000 watt microwave(assuming it's on full-power) for 15 minutes it would use 1000 * (15/60) = 250 watt hours. Or a computer that idles at 100w would use 100 watt hours per hour, etc.

30 megawatts = 30 million watts
90.6 million dollars / 30 million watts = $3.02/watt

right. that's how orthotics should be. they are to get you back into place/alignment, but they are not a permanent solution; you stop using them when you're better.

god dammit i want their shoes, all of them. WHY is it so hard for a company to make a plain, basic shoe that is the shape of the foot and has a thin sole? I don't want tech, I don't want to pay $100, and I definitely don't want your fucking retarded branding.

I'm not sure what the reason is on here, but I read BFT's google group and occasionally some people come up who are very very vehemently against being barefoot. You'd think you'd raped their children by the way they act around bare feet.

shoemakers and cordwainers are hard to come by these days-but if the shoes are made of leather you might be in luck. fort pitt leather(yes this place is in a shady area of uptown and only accepts bills) has a lot of leather and soling type material. they might be able to help you.

I'm talking about the water before it is shot into the well. It's not unheard of in Pennsylvania for companies to simply suck water out of streams and then fire it down into the Marcellus Shale. By doing that, natural gas companies are putting a huge strain on freshwater resources. If sea water could be used instead of fresh water for the injection, it would relieve that tension.

In Pennsylvania coal is used for energy instead of gas. Gas is very predominantly used for heating, so yes, putting on a sweater and dropping the thermostat will make a large difference. In places where gas is used for power, reducing power consumption is a very reasonable compromise.
The issue is that water tables are a very limited resource and are used across a long term. Ruining them because of improper oversight and regulation for short term monetary gain, as is happening in Pennsylvania, is short sighted. We can extract the gas without messing things up, I think, if safe protocols for creating wells and managing wastewater are enforced and followed. This is why EPA is experimenting with fracking and why so many Pennsylvanians are pushing for a moratorium on drilling until safe procedures are drafted by EPA.

the problem is on the back of the companies, and here in Pennsylvania they're allowed to operate before proper regulations in place, very unfortunately.
The cement casing surrounding the well as it passes through the water table must be the proper material so as not to crack, and the fracking fluid that comes back up must be kept isolated from fresh water resources. Also the water going into the well has to be sourced from somewhere--it'd be cool if they could just use sea water, but I suppose the transit cost would be too great.

Do you want to wear a sweater and turn down the thermostat, or ruin up your water table? It's extremely expensive and very, very hard to fix a contaminated water table. Once it's polluted, your water won't be usable for drinking, showering, etc. ever again.
