Don't say anything bad about anyone. Be chill. Don't take everything too seriously. Try to let loose and have a little fun.

What's one thing you want to tell your SO, but never ever will. by Jimboleein AskReddit

Self-fulfilling prophecies are stronger than you might think. You have to get out of this thought process.

Think about all the great things about you and why they love you for them.

Spend your valuable energy, time, and thoughts in positive thoughts, and energy in having a great time with them, rather than wallowing in negativity.

Coming from a family of nurses, I can say that nursing is lucrative. However, it is also extremely challenging and stressful. The good thing is that you can make a decent living (starting $70K/yr in Los Angeles).

The bad is that nursing school is extremely tough, a patient's life is in your hands (stressful), and all the gross & depressing human stuff that comes with working in a hospital. A big difference is what unit you work at. ER is much more stressful than maternity, etc.

The big payoff is that after being a nurse for 10+ yrs, you pretty much have it down, get paid well (raises each year), get good benefits, and can move into a lot of different areas in nursing (i.e. clinics, administration, etc.)

Have someone else introduce you to them. A female is better than a male. If they compliment you and help spark the conversation, even better.

This is what made nights out to clubs quickly lame for my friends and I. It was fun to dance with respect for personal space... Then BANG 1230 hits and all of a sudden these guys get brave and incredibly invasive of personal space and don't stop hitting on my friends and grabbing them, that's when we know it's time to go. We haven't gone clubbing in a while!

When I was in 3rd grade, we were playing 4 square with some older kids and I told them, "you better play fair or I'LL RAPE YOU!!" my well-educated-by-her-parents friend said, "Oh my gosh! Don't say that! It means you'll force them to have sex with you!" I was dumbfounded. I remember hearing it on the news all the time, asking my mom what rape means, and her ignoring me.

I totally agree with you but it helped when I stopped going to bars and other places where personal- space invasion was likely to happen.
