I turned it into a personality/psychological game. I have various toys, each one part of the test. If the person grabs the slinky, they have an analytical mind and wants to solve things or figure out how they work - if they grab the sand waterfall, they appreciate art and beauty - etc. etc.

Then after they inevitably grab one of the toys I leave out (because everyone does it) I spout the related bullshit I made up about the toy and what it tells me about them. They never touch my shit again.
