I just saw Shearwater on Saturday night open for St. Vincent. They blew me away. St Vincent was great, but they stole the show. The singer's voice is one of the best I've ever heard.

this is the worst logic ever -- how can you compare a surgeon performing life saving surgery to a pilot going for a joy ride with his family?

your point would only make sense if the pilot automatically saved someone's life each time he took off -- problem is he's not contributing jack shit to society by being a shitty pilot and taking his family along with him.

I hope you understand thE flaw in your logic. The two can be linked, yes, but when you hear about a case where a step dad beats his children, it's completely ridiculous to just go ahead and assume he sexually abuses them as well.

There are plenty of cases where it's just one or the other -- and unless there is specific evidence pointing toward sexual abuse, it's a completely baseless accusation.

Ok, but it's outlandish to go ahead and assume that his brother was sexually abused by his step father. Physical abuse doesn't necessarily result in sexual abuse as well. Sure, it's a slight possibility, but by no means likely.
