We are all made up of atoms, we care constantly shredding and growing new cells. The atoms of these shed cells go back into the food chain at the lower levels and slowly work their way back up the food chain by being eaten/absorbed by higher levels. Eventually those cells enter the human food chain and are consumed and used to make cells in different people.

That means the atoms of the body you were born in is now part of millions other people around the world and through that we are all connected.
