Homemade balsamic vinaigrette is too sweet. What can I add to fix it? by bitchfacedkillahin Cooking

Anchovy paste. Start with a pea-sized amount. Whisk it in and let it sit a bit (15 mins). Does wonders.

I'm 27, a father, and I'm starting college for the first time. I'm a grown-ass man but I'm scared to death. Have any advice? by freethinker84in AskReddit

Wow -- very cool! Ambition is a terrific example to set for your kids -- they will be better for it. And you are not a chump -- in truth, if you did nothing and just whined and bitched, you'd be the chumpiest of chumps.

A few ideas that helped me: Organize yourself. Take the class syllabus information and set up an agenda of what is due and when. Refer to this agenda all quarter long as it will ensure no surprises. The syllabus is not to be disregarded. Study all the time -- flash cards, reading, talking about the material -- whatever helps you assimilate the information. Everyone has a personal best method so work with several until you get your own. Generally, if you can easily articulate the material, you are golden. Get sleep -- this is huge. Have family time -- if you organize your studying, you will have time to easily dedicate to them. Talk to your instructors. Ask for clarification, show some interest and pay attention in class. These relationships will HELP as you progress. If you are going to be late or miss class, email them -- they will respond to your professionalism.

And congratulations in advance!

By my own count, there are 7 spelling and punctuation errors in your original post. Here is a corrected version:

'I'll start. Mine are when people touch the computer screen, don't use tabs, use Internet Explorer (IE) and people who are completely unorganized."

Yep. I don't own a gun and have no plans to. However, my Dad insisted I take handgun safety glasses as a kid. I've refreshed a few times to stay current.

FYI -- not really chocolate.

My mom calls everyone she doesn't know 'Charlie' as a default. She means nothing bad by it, she uses that rather than 'Buddy" or "Jack", names someone else might use.

It gets awkward when you realize that there are A LOT of Asian people in Seattle. Hearing her call a random Asian guy "Charlie" still skeeves me.

Loreto, BCS, Mexico.

Alaska has flights from LAX, hotels are cheap and diving there is lovely.

[AmA Request] Actor Peter Dinklage by TinyTimmyTokyoin IAmA

Can you imagine what his career would be, without his medical condition? His parents surely raised a whole person, so that he had the integrity to be authentic to himself and work at what he loved, anyway.
