Though I'm honestly surprised they're not going all out trying to sign fOrGG/Fin.

Personally, if I were Nazgul, I would acquire Fin (Liquid'Fin), Scarlett (Liquid'Scarlett) and WinDy (Liquid'Terran), try and buy Fenix from IM and then push towards getting an ex-BW pro out of retirement like HiyA or Androide (Think about that, Androide, the foreigner hope in WCG2005 switching to SC2 and going to Korea under Liquid's banner.) Then send all the foreigners to Korea and begin a gigantically concentrated push to win GSL and GSTL.

Why? Because:

Fin is a very good pickup.
Scarlett went toe-to-toe with FXOz. If she's given the practice environment and the time, i guarantee she will be a beast to be reckoned with.
WinDy is like the NaNi of North America. He's a determined player who just wants to succeed and for the most part has relaxed his attitude.
Fenix has done virtually nothing since he was signed by IM. Liquid'Fenix could be beneficial both for him and for Liquid as he could attend international events that IM are not willing to send him to.
HiyA was kinda half decent in BW. But as IrOn (MC), Mvp and Zergbong (NesTea) prove, even mediocre b-teamers in BW can be world class SC2 players.
Androide took down Silent_Control in WCG2005 at the peak of his career. Silent_Control isn't a pushover considering he beat xellOs, who was literally a WCG champion the previous year and a very good player.
Liquid needs FAR more terrans. Other than TaeJa, all they have is Jinro who has achieved nothing noteworthy since GSL January 2011. Perhaps the greatly increased terran presence can help in this regard.

I'm gonna try it once I'm done with exams (About six more days and I'm done.) Just weeks of deliberate practice improving my macro and maxing out at ridiculously fast times whilst avoiding supply blockage, then adding everything else necessary to mechanical improvement week by week

I'm not necessarily gonna switch from Protoss to a more APM-intensive race because I like how the toss metagame looks for every matchup but I am going to give this exercise a serious attempt.
