Public execution?

...what?

No. Sorry, but no. This is not medieval Europe. There are much more effective ways of fixing the problem of police brutality.

Sorry, not me.

Violence begets violence. Focus on changing the system, not ending the life of the offender.

Nope. Not going to happen.

Americans writ large are FAR too afraid and respectful of law enforcement to ever rise against them, even guerrilla-style.

Prison life has been Hollywood-ized to be petrifyingly scary. Police have been lumped in with the military as hallowed, praised American heros. Their presence is pervasive. They're being armed with more and more dangerous weapons every year.

Any kind of retaliation for police brutality won't be coming from the common man.

It will be coming from a collective of livid warriors led by someone intelligent, driven, compassionate and incapable of being bought.

Why the downvotes? Unless this is incorrect, it's a proper answer.

This...THIS...holy shit THIS IS AMAZING.

The concept of sexual allure as fatal bait is deep, and it's expressed perfectly here.

Linework is stellar. Shading is muah great. I am enamored with this piece.

Excellent.

While we're at it, here's a picture of me playing for exactly 2 people (the person taking the picture and a dude in a wheelchair) in a dirty alley.

Humility is my friend.

EDIT: I posted this because it's not a one-up "LOOK AT MY HUGE GIG/AUDIENCE", not because I want attention.

You should revisit the meaning of this word. Just sayin'.

Leaving your physical body while meditating by postmodernsatoriin Meditation

[–]Agnostix 0 points1 point ago

I encounter this frequently when I meditate.

Interestingly, I have refined my meditation practice to the point where I can 'activate' this physical disconnect sensation by breathing into the root chakra and exhaling up through the crown chakra.

I envision my skull, spine and pelvis as a kind of energy column that extends in length and intensity as I focus more and more on breathing.

While it's an interesting experience, I find the bodily disconnect sensation is but a side-effect of the more important practice of releasing the mind from any and all objects of focus but the breath.

Memo reveals well coordinated campaign to turn the American public against wind power in the 2012 election cycle by SmLninein news

[–]Agnostix 15 points16 points ago

it's not the panacea that most people make it out to be.

Absolutely.

Wind energy should be seen as supplemental to the grid, at BEST.

IMO, nuclear energy efforts should be getting WAY more attention than wind.

[–]Agnostix 11 points12 points ago

You are fucking retarded.

I work in the wind energy business here in the U.S., and it's colossal.

There are BILLIONS invested in U.S. based wind farms, and while the ROI is very long (10-20 years for some sites), people are making serious money on commercial scale wind energy projects.

Wind is absolutely a viable source of energy and you are a monumental idiot.
